Vännäs Kasino är en kraftfull ensemble känd för sina elektrifierande framträdanden och snabba musikaliska skicklighet. Vad som från början började som ett projekt under pandemin har utvecklats till ett fullfjädrat band med en sömlöst bland erfarenhet och en passion för att skapa en distinkt ljudbild. I kärnan av Vännäs Kasinos ljudmatta finns en uppställning rik på musikhistoria. I spetsen står Sara Almgren, en basist och sångerska vars resa började med en livlig USA-turné 1995 tillsammans med Doughnuts. Till den melodiska mosaiken bidrar den skickliga gitarristen och sångerskan Kajsa Poidnak, känd för sina bidrag till noise-rockbandet Rome Is Not A Town. Gitarrvirtuosen och sångaren Dennis Lyxzen bidrar med en rik erfarenhet, efter att ha präglat sitt musikaliska arv i talrika band sedan sent 80-tal. Den rytmiska grunden läggs av den erfarna trummisen Thomas Hedlund, känd för sina bidrag till band som Deportees och Cult of Luna.

Mmm… no realmente. Comenzó como algo para divertirnos y de pronto decidimos que no íbamos a poner nada de material en medios de streaming, lo cual hace que todo sea más interesante (risas) y luego creímos que a medida que fuéramos haciendo shows nos irían conociendo. No nos configuramos para ser algo como Ghost (risas). Es un proyecto de bajo perfil que irá creciendo a su ritmo. Nos pareció guay comenzar de ese modo pensando en que hay muchos “ex miembros de” en esta banda.
